There was much more going on at Andrews AFB than the care and feeding of Air Force One, especially in the BOTM hanger. U.S. Marines were making history in the fictional novel FOUND IN TIME. The operation was so secret that the Joint Chiefs of Staff elected to keep it from the President and the Secretery of Defense. Readers, and audiobook listeners, will enjoy a thrilling ride in this fast-paced story the Midwest Book Review gave an unreserved recommendation.  Will they make it back from the most dramatic mission ever? Are terrorists the only captives at GITMO?  You’ll have to read the book to find out but I asked a bunch of Marines read the work to make sure I did right. One came away with this simple review; “Wow!”

After spending time with so many veterans at the National Warplane Museum in New York recently I left there with renewed awe of the brave men and women and their stories. I got to spend a short time with Les Cruise, who jumped from Whiskey 7 over Normandy during the D-Day Invasion.  My father fought the Germans overseas during WWII and my uncle Charlie was stationed at Andrews years after he fought in Korea.  My relatives and friends inspired me and since Charlie got me in to see JFK at Andrews it came very naturally to have this story come to life there in Maryland.
