An excerpt from The Lost Pulse, the sequel to Found In Time, launching October 17th.
“Two things, JJ,” Stewart said. There was something in the President’s voice that he hadn’t heard in all the years he’d been around the man. It was fear. “ They’ve been using drones in the middle of the night to plant explosives inside stadiums and other venues all over the world. We’ve been able to take the drones down when we see them but it sounds like much of the damage has been done. There are too many buildings, too much infrastructure that could have been compromised. We’re going to have to shut down every big event, at least in the United States, until we’ve been able to sweep everywhere and shut down all drone activity here at home.”
Here are two reviews of The Lost Pulse.
“…Characters charge into the unknown in a manner that will engage thriller readers right up to the end, thoroughly immersing them in the lives of Popes, Presidents, Marines, and individuals who fight for love, family, freedom, and self.” D. Donovan, Senior Reviewer, Midwest Book Review.
Fans of Douglas E. Richards’s blockbuster time travel novel Split Second will love The Lost Pulse. Kelly’s unique blend of sci-fi and military fiction works well. Kelly’s portrait of a world so threatened by terrorism that no world leader is safe (even the Pope contemplates cancelling Easter Mass) makes this a page-turner. While Kelly provides just enough backstory to make The Lost Pulse stand on its own, we recommend reading the series debut, Found in Time, to fully appreciate the relationship between Jackson, his wife and her brother.
