Art depicts emotional scene from The Lost Pulse
If you haven’t read The Lost Pulse, this scene represents a powerful moment in the book when the President of the United States flies over The Movie Memphis Belle and other famous warbirds resting at a 4th of July celebration he’s set to attend. Once inside a plane much like the one his late uncle flew on, his mind takes him to his mother’s heartbreak and painful memory from the D-Day Invasion over Normandy during World War II. My father, like so many others, fought in Europe during that war and I’ve had the honor of touring Normandy, meeting hero paratroopers like Les Cruise, and flying in a few of these special birds. It’s with the utmost respect that I remember them for their bravery and sacrifices.
The Lost Pulse, and it’s predecessor Found In Time, take readers on quite a journey. Monticello, Camp David, Berlin, Gethsemane, and so many other historic locations. If you enjoy historical fiction, time travel, and love stories, these two novels might be of interest. The first chapters of each book are available on this site, under books. Cheers. JK
